A Consultant General Physician has post graduate training in a number of the medical specialties.  These include cardiology (heart), respiratory medicine (lungs), neurology (brain), haematology (blood) and geriatrics (the elderly).  Perhaps the main role of a Consultant Physician is to thoroughly assess and diagnose patients with multiple problems and to co-ordinate treatment with your General Practitioner.  As with all specialists, a written referral from another doctor is needed. A referral from your GP will last 12 months for the same problem and for 3 months only if it is written by another specialist.

Directions : St John of God Hospital (SJOG) is the rammed earth building (closest to Busselton) in the South West Health Campus on the corner of Bussell Highway and Robertson Drive.  Go in through the SJOG front doors and up the stairs or lift ahead of you.  We are in Suite 8.   There are public toilets on our floor as well as on the ground floor.

Hours: Monday to Friday 9-5.

Disabled Parking is available close to the front entrance. A “drop-off” zone is also in front of St Johns.
